Boutique Bummis & BabyAuric Diaper Service will be co-hosting The Great Cloth Diaper Change 2012 at 4302 St-Laurent. This is a global effort to set a Guinness World Record for how many babies can be changed into cloth diapers at one time. Over 400 communities around the world are taking part, including our official Montreal location!

• All paired participants receive THREE free raffle tickets, over $5000 in giveaways

• Meet and greet with fun Montreal parents and local news personalities.

Cloth diapers have come a long way in recent years, and our goal is to generate awareness, as cloth diapering once again becomes mainstream.

A few facts that might surprise you: 

§         From birth-to-potty training, each baby will wear about 6000 diapers, the equivalent of 1 ton of garbage

§         Cloth diapers are VERY affordable. (Save as much as $2000 per baby in cloth!)

§         Modern cloth diapers are easy to use, comfortable and adorable

Members of community are invited to attend our fun-filled family event this Saturday, April 21st to show your support for families using cloth diapers, Montreal cloth diaper subsidy programming and local environmental initiatives. 

Event Location:  4302 St-Laurent, Montreal

The official record breaking event will be taking place at 12:30pm EST.  Arrive by 12:00pm for opening ceremonies.  What better way to celebrate Earth Day?

GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATION

 Each participant must be paired with one child 39 inches or shorter.

 Each child must be changed into a cloth, reusable diaper that can be purchased online, at a brick & mortar store, or is offered through a diaper service. It doesn’t matter what diaper type a child arrives in.

 At the sound of a loud start signal, all participants must remove their child’s existing diaper and properly put on a 100% reusable cloth diaper.

 At the signal to start:  Each participant should hold the clean diaper they will change the baby into high in the air (the photographer should take ―before‖ shots). 

 Each participant should change their child’s diaper (no photographs or video should 

be taken during this time). 

 When the diaper change is complete, each participant should hold their freshly changed child in the air (the photographer should take ―after‖ shots).
